Fire continues to rage in the Brooker Creek preserve, Tarpon Springs

The last 30 days shows about 2 inches worth of rain in the Brooker Creek preserve area of Tarpon Springs.  Local firefighters have successfully contained a forest fire that’s been burning in the Brooker Creek preserve since Friday.  By the time we get to June, Tarpon Springs will average 6 inches for the month of June historically.   Forecasts are anticipating that the precipitation will start increasing towards the end of May before we enter the true rainy season.  See the image gallery below for pictures.
