Florida Botanical Gardens

The Gardens will sparkle with 1 million, twinkling, LED lights in a multitude of colors. Vibrant laser lights and lighted figures round out our display to wow guests of all ages. Our friends, The Train Guys, will be back again for the opening weekend of the event. Their model trains will surround our 18 foot evergreen tree, bedecked in nature-inspired splendor, in the heart of the Wedding Garden.

There are four entrances to Holiday Lights and all of them have names: Snowflake – On the Bridge coming in from the Ulmerton Road Entrance. Poinsettia – On the walkway from the Walsingham Road entrance. Blue Heron – On the North Bridge entrance from the back of the Visitor Center. Green Turtle – On the east side of the gardens, off the Walsingham Road cul-de-sac. When you arrive at the event, you will receive a color-coded sticker, to remind you which entrance you came in at. Chic-Fil-A, 6299 West Waters Ave, Tampa, FL 33634

A crowd favorite for several years now, this Chick-fil-a brings the magic of Christmas both to those looking to enjoy a quick bite or treat, and to the events that take place in the parking lot with lights surrounding the entire property. Remember: Chick-fil-a is not open on Sundays, and the display is dark on Sunday.

Nights of Shimmering Lights

There is no picture that can do this place justice. Located at The Sunkissed Acres, this light show is SO much more than a light show. Here’s a taste of what is in store for you:

1/4-mile walking trail (trails are wide for social distancing), outdoor movies, maze of lights, scavenger hunt, cornhole, duck boat racing, and the best fresh-made donuts you’ll ever have

It costs $7 per person (2 and under are free), parking is free,

Hours: 6:30 pm-9:30 pm weeknights, 10:30 pm Friday & Saturday

(Seriously…get the donuts…you won’t regret it!)

First Baptist Church of Plant City

This was an accidental find on our way home from Plant City but I’m glad we went this way! Just pull up in the HUGE parking lot, sit back with your coffee or hot cocoa, and enjoy the show. The is a massive church that is lined top to bottom with lights. There’s not really a bad spot to sit anywhere in the parking lot.

Lights of Love – McCall Park, Plant City, FL

A free walk-through light display in the center of quaint Plant City. Worth a stroll-through with your family.

Largo Holiday Lights

101 Central Park Drive, Largo, FL 33771

Presented by the City of Largo, this family-friendly event features a holiday light display, carousel and seven-story Ferris wheel that offers a breathtaking overhead view of the 70-acre Largo Central Park and more than 2 million LED lights.

There is no charge for park admission. Rides are $5 each or $20 for 5 rides.

The rides and light display are open nightly from Thanksgiving Day through New Year’s Day. Additional festivities on Sat., Dec. 4 will include Santa, entertainment and concessions from 6:30pm to 9:30pm, a Holiday Gift Market from 3:00pm to 9:30pm and other activities.

Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland

This is the perfect spot to grab a cup of coffee or hot chocolate and take a stroll. There are lights that make a tunnel around the street, accompanied with touches from the homes down the street. All warm white lights to bring on the nostalgia of old America

Boyette Animal Hospital

A nice public display from this vet clinic/animal hospitals. The large trees surrounding the front are lined with brightly colored LEDs. A nice business contribution to the community.

University Town Center – Sarasota

University Town Center…get your shopping done, grab a bite to eat and then walk off those calories looking at the lights literally all over every square inch of the place. Make sure to look in the nooks and crannies for some really cool displays like tightrope walkers, turtles, and MUCH more!
