It's time to start planning!

Save the date for Tampa Fire Rescue’s Hurricane Preparedness Expo on Saturday, May 30, 2026.

At this event, residents will have the opportunity to speak to various City of Tampa departments, community partners, and businesses to learn how to prepare their families and homes in the event of a tropical storm or hurricane.

Sandbags will be available, limited to 10 per family, while supplies last. Residents interested in receiving sandbags must show a valid Driver's License or State Identification verifying residency within the city limits.
